The project "Creation of a Youth Center - Gotse Delchev" is financed under procedure BG-RRP-1.009 A2 "Creation of youth centers (in cities that are not regional)" from the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability.

Implementation period: 2024 – 2026.

The main goal of the project is to help improve the quality of life of young people in the municipality of Gotse Delchev, including those at risk and disadvantaged by providing complex services to help with personal development and employability.

The main target group is: students and young people aged 13 to 29; students at risk of dropping out or dropped out of school; the so-called NEETs; young people from other vulnerable groups (including Roma).

Secondary target group are youth workers, educational mediators, NGOs and business representatives.

The project will carry out renovation works to ensure adequate material base of the Youth Center, will equip a computer room and rooms for training and conferences. There will be regular activities for building skills of the youth through trainings, seminars, gatherings, etc. The planned activities will involve over 800 young people.

The expected results are related to ensured access to diverse services that meet youth needs; expanding the opportunities for young people to develop their own potential; established active cooperation with the project partners, the National Network of Youth Centers; capacity building of Youth Center employees.
