From 01.09.2025 to the end of November you may take part in our online survey on the advantages and disadvantages of living in rural areas and the possibilities of combining it with remote work. This flexible form of work is increasingly popular and has the potential to attract and retain working people in small settlements.

Through the survey, part of the Danube4Rural.com project, we aim to understand what people value, what they need or what they lack for living in rural areas. The information collected will help us to develop smarter public policies and to improve the quality of life in rural communities.

The main questions we are investigating are: Would you move to a rural area - what motivates you, or what stops you? What do you like about it and what might you not like?
