Conference for presenting the results, achieved by the young people from Gotse Delchev and Gevgeliya regions during the implementation of the cross-bodrder "Innovation Center for Youth" Project took place in Gevgeliya, Macedonia on April, 29-30. The Mayor of Gevgeliya Municipality and President of the South-East region of Macedonia - Mr. Ivan Frangov congratulated the participants with the achievements and wished successful implementation of ideas and plans.
The results are very impressive: 40 young people at risk of social exclusion acquired computer skills; 40 young people already have practical skills in web design and developed their own web sites for family and small business, sustainable tourism and social initiatives; 40 high school students and young entrepreneurs built skills to generate innovative ideas and solutions, and created 8cross-border teams, which together with experienced experts worked on the development of business ideas, made 3D prototypes and developed their business plans.
The 8 youth teams presented their business plans at the conference and showed great development from the idea to its realization plan and how much they have learned and mastered. Their business plans can be implemented as a private business or as projects with public funding. And although the project completes its work continues, because young people have clearly stated that they want to see their ideas implemented. The team developed a business plan for the Ethno - Camp received its first investment of 400 euros from Business Incubator - Gotse Delchev to start its realization.
Lead partner under the project is Business Incubator - Gotse Delchev, Entrepreneurship Promotion Centre and partner is Foundation for Local Development and Information, Gevgeliya.
