Research on the remote work and life in rural areas
From 01.09.2025 to the end of November you may take part in our online survey on the advantages and disadvantages of living in rural areas and the possibilities of combining it with remote work. This flexible form of work is increasingly popular and has the potential to attract and retain working people in small settlements.
Through the survey, part of the Danube4Rural.com project, we aim to understand what people value, what they need or what they lack for living in rural areas. The information collected will help us to develop smarter public policies and to improve the quality of life in rural communities.

Business Incubator - Gotse Delchev, Entrepreneurship Promotion Centre (BI-GD) is a not-for-profit organization in public benefit, working towards encouraging local economic & human resources development. BI-GD provides aid to start-up's SME's from Gotse Delchev and the cross-border region through high-quality business services: information, consultation, training and support for micro-financing.

Projects
BI-GD's main approach for achieving the strategic objectives is project financing. That is why the organization focus most of it's resources and efforts in identifying needs, targeting, development and implementation of projects.
BI-GD has successfully implemented projects under the European Union H2020 Programme, Danube Transnational Programme, Erasmus+, LdV Programmes, Phare CBC and Interreg Greece - Bulgaria, IPA Bulgaria - Macedonia, INTERREG IVC and other nationally funded projects.
Our expertise and long-term experience can make us the best partner for an EU project consortium.
Training
BI-GD has a Vocational Training Centre and delivers vocational training for new qualification or the improvement of existing ones due to its accreditation of the NA for VET and the National Employment Agency to provide vocational trainings & key competences e.g: entrepreneurship, marketing & management, economics etc.
Since 2009 BI-GD delivers e-training.
Over 2700 people have passed training in BI-GD through the years.
