:: business contacts with Greece::

In Aprill 2002 representatives of JOBS centers visited Northern Greece to present the JOBS Project and the opportunities for business in Bulgaria, more specifically the apparel and textile sector, food-processing, furniture and tourism

There were carried out meetings with Greek entrepreneurs, chambers of commerce, branch associations and supporting business organizations

Business Incubator - Gotse Delchev as a part of Project JOBS:

• supports the establishment of direct business contacts between Bulgarian and Greek SMEs.
  More specifically works actively for the JOBS project initiative of supporting and developing of the following Bulgarian sectors of high international competitiveness and whereas interest for business with Greek companies exists - apparel and textiles, herbs and spices, food-processing, handicraft, furniture and tourism.
• supports the establishment of contacts between the JOBS network of 24 business centers in Bulgaria and Greek business supports structures, such as chambers of commerce, business associations and organizations. In that way contacts should be promoted with Greek companies interested in:
  - outsourcing production to Bulgarian apparel/furniture manufacturers
  - investing in their own manufacturing unit in Bulgaria
  - distributing Greek goods on the Bulgarian market
• collects, provides and stores information concerning Greek - Bulgarian business relations:
  - database of the above-mentioned Greek business support organizations
  - database of Greek fairs and trade shows
  - database of Greek companies active in the above-mentioned sectors
• prepares and organizes business meetings
